I have a 2011 Puma, so going up a size might be answer, the tires that are on it are Cooper Cobras, which appear to be passenger car tires, not trailer tires. From what I can tell there are few, if any trailer tires in the OEM size.
OldtimerThanks, Im probably a lot like the guy in the story and I dont get out with the boat as much as Id like. I posted the question to get a PTP height that would be a good place to start — set a height and start learning with the trim. Better midrange cruising would be my priority.
BassCatSC — looks like the General Tire Altimax RT comes in the same size as my Coopers. oldtimer57/1stinLA — Ive heard good things about the Goodyear Endurance, but its not available in the same size it comes in 205/75R-15, which looks to be about 0.3″ taller than the current tire. I suppose that would change the gap between the tires at their closest point by 0.6″ should be room for that I think.
