Hey skeeter, This sure sounds like a heck of a deal. Please send some pics to ] Thanks, Gary
I was at this store last week to buy my new Pantera IV. I took a little time to check out this showroom kept Puma. It is a beautiful rig. An absolute bargain at this price. Nice people to deal with as well. Gman
My brother owned a Fast Strike for a while. It was a great motor. When he bought his BassCat Cougar 9 years ago he sold it to a friend of ours. That friend has used and abused that engine since and it is still goiing strong.
pjcatin,I got mine at Academy. I have also seen them at Basspro Shop.
I crawled under the cover to measure the height of the cover and made a post with a “T” on top out of PVC pipe and fittings. Not high-tech but it works fine.
Just like you, when I purchased my PIV I bought my dream boat. I have Lowrance electronics and an Evinrude E-tec HO and Minn Kota troller. I can honestly say that bow to stern including the trailer I have not had any problems at all. I am as happy as can be with my rig. It sounds as though its time for things to start going your way. If I were in your place I guess I would be in a blue funk too.
The flippin deck looks great. I would leave the passenger console on there. I love the storage it provides and I think it makes the boat look better.
TRP,Though I dont post on the owners board often, I spend an awful lot of time here reading posts made by “the family” regarding questions or concerns on thier boats, or just comments on fishing, sports or anything at all. I was amazed at how often BCB would show up with support to answer those questions or concerns even very late at night. When I read your post I knew it would not be long before BCB would show up. Nobody does customer service better, period. Hence the JD Powers Award 5 years running. There is a wealth of knowledge to be had here on the board and if you cant find what you need to know just ask and you will be answered by someone. It is a fabulous tool.GaryLast edited by CatGman on March 20th, 2011, 2:04 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Nice job! Really looks good.
Bama,You suckered me right in with that heading. That wasnt exactly the “cat” I was expecting.
I think maybe it stands for Six-Cylinder-Inline.
I have an ETEC 200HO also and have not had any problems. Whats the deal with the Yamaha primer bulb?Should I look into switching bulbs?
JW,Is that drivers side on the boat or drivers side on the truck?
