WOW thats incredible Travis. I was hoping it would be a good report. I have yet to hit 6000 rpms with my XR6, you think Im a bit too low on the plate perhaps?? Ill try to tweak it more, maybe this weekend since the weather is good finally. I would love to get those speeds, because I fish alone alot, and dont always run the livewells. I have a Dual console 05 Sabre with the XR6. I have the 23P stock, and its a great prop. Im seeing 63.5mph, full gas, light load, by myself. I will probably get a 24-25P sometime in the near future because I fish alone alot, and like going fast. I saw the pics, did you get my reply? The damage is just to the ears of the prop, not the whole face of the blades correct? Kind of looks like the damage I did at the boat ramp to mine, but not as bad on yours probably. If you can get me a closer up pic to where I can see its not that bad, Ill take it. Sorry I wasn’t 100% clear. I was talking about the bow eye safety chain. Mine doesn’t have one. A buddy I fished with last weekend, he was talking about how he got pulled over once and the highway patrol man said his saftey boweye chain wasn’t hooked up and its against the law. I guess I’ll buy some chain and hook it up to that trailer toungue loop that djk3030 mentioned. Thanks.
I have safety cables on the trailer, and they are crossed diag.

Keeping your charger plugged in all the time shouldnt be the answer. I have charged mine and let them sit for weeks at a time and its still ready to go when I take it out. Its either something staying on like you said, or a bad battery. Start looking.

Just goes to show this message board works the best. Posted the same question 3 places and no responses at the other 2 yet. Thanks for the suggestions. I turned on my LMS-480 on status and it said 12.1 v, thats just reading the starting battery though as far as I know. I will check the voltages with an volt meter tonight, should be ok for the weekend because I can use the 2 bank, and I’m sure take my extra charger for the starting.
I have the plastic trays with a strap over the trojans so coming in contact is not an issue.

Well I took all 3 batteries out and cleaned all the terminals and ends. Actually found a small amount of corrosion on the wire ends. A year of ownership goes by fast, first cleaning. I used our shop battery tester, all 3 read full, 12.7-.8 and read good. I plugged the charger back in, both lights stayed on for a half hour, unplugged and in again, and then the charge light went out. Seems sketchy, but its good enough now to get me through the weekend. At least I know they are charging .
