2005 Pantera Classic and recently am having bilge pump issues. It has worked fine all summer. When I went to the barn today I noticed that the manual bilge light on the control panel was on. Possibly it got left on. Not sure if that tripped a breaker or caused some other issue. Everything else on the control panel works normally
Bilge pump won’t turn on in manual or automatic mode. I checked the ground in the bilge connector and appears to be fine. If I run a wire from positive battery terminal to the positive lead on the bilge (with bilge ground wire hooked up normally) it seems to run fine.
I’m getting zero power at the positive wire where the bilge plugs in. I checked with voltmeter as well as 12v tester with light. Nothing for power when the switch is on manual.
I am going to wire up a temp switched wire from the pos battery terminal to the bilge. But would really like to get it working from the panel. Is there a breaker or fuse somewhere that I am missing?
If I wanted to wire up the auto bilge from the battery do you have any suggestions on how to do that?
Thanks!
