TnSabre, do you still have that 25 trophy available. I know that was a long time ago that you posted, but thought i would ask. If you have it, is it in good condition and could you send pics. Thanks.KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax

Chris,The cutting board is cut very close to the exact shape of the rod box. Then it is just slightly wedged into the carpet of the rod box (not extremely tight). Also, the 15 golf club tubes are pushed through the front and resting behind the cutting board to add a little stability. It is not mounted with any hardware, but it is very stable. It has not moved at all since I placed it about 6 months ago, and ive fished in some rough stuff several times. Hope that helps.KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax

Joey is right about the props. However, ill correct him just a little. It is Jacos Marine (931-762-6710). The price on a new prop is $399 plus $20 shipping (prices have gone up a little over the past year I guess). I just did this about a month ago thanks to joeys advice. That is much cheaper than what you can find at most places. That is for a brand new prop in the box including mercury flo-torq II hub kit. Thanks again joey – Dont mean to offend at all.KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax

I ordered the large golf club tubes online from Bass Pro Shops. I actually looked at several golf stores, and none of them carried the tubes. I used a jig saw to cut the cutting board. It was a messy process, but the jig saw worked fine. Let me know if I can help more.KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax

I vote for Lasiter combo 1. Love that silver. Nice looking boat. Combo 2 is great also, but I just love that silver in combo 1.KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax

I bought a ladder at Gander Mtn last year that hangs over the side of the boat when needed. It has a rubber coating on the ladder so that it wont scratch the boat. It folds down flat for storage. It cost $30-40. KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax

Hey. Check out this link. Its from BPS, but it is very similar to what I have. There is another one on there website with larger hooks if needed. Hope it helps.Kentbass boat ladder linkPS – I just read the reviews for this ladder on the BPS website. It doesnt look like this is a good model for quality, but it gives you an idea of what it looks like.Kent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax

I currently have a 2002 classic that I bought used. I love this boat, but I would like to have a newer P2 just for the increased storage and deck layout. I would love to have a new boat if I could afford it. This is all a preference and financial decision. I think the classic and P2 are the best from a financial standpoint. Just my opinion.KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax

I have a 2002 classic, but mine has a 200 Yamaha VMax. I can only get mine to about 68 by myself, but the Mercury should beat that. Ive heard several people report numbers in the low 70s are easily attainable with that combination. I just havent seen it with mine. Im using a 25 trophy, but ive heard others using 25/26 tempest or trophy. There are a lot of variables involved. We will need some numbers when you get started, and that will help everyone give better advice. Im sure youll love it. I would suggest getting the flippin deck if you dont have it already. It makes a huge difference.KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax

I would start with a call to Scott in Parts Dept. at BCB (870-481-5135). He should be able to get you some carpet. He will be able to give you installation advice as well. Hope that helps.KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax
