    Welcome Steve. Bass Cat has a number of different models that you should fit into just fine. Caracal, Cougar, Puma, Lynx, Jaguar are all good choices that you should fit into. I don’t own one of those models but I’m sure that someone will be along shortly to give you the information you need. I’m also only 5′ 8″ so I fit nicely into the Pantera 2 that I own. Someone your size will definitely fill you in.

    I have one as well. In mint condition that has been run twice.It is a spare, and not suited for new boat.Everyone should believe in something. I believe Ill just go fishing!

    One thing for sure……this is no surprise to me!

    I think the responses above might have missed your point.
    You don’t need a chain there because of BassCat’s design with the two rollers where the strap goes under the bottom one and then up to the bow eye. With this configuration, you have a “strap and a chain” all in one.
    If I’m wrong, then others will help with this one.

    This is too cool! How do people come up with this kind of stuff? Better yet, how do they find the time to create this on-line entertainment?
    And BCB, how do you all keep up with all these other sites to find these gems?

    BCB, I realize that “business is business”, but if there is any way that Thomas Marine could stay the BassCat dealer, that would be great for the “family” down here. I dont know what could be worked out, but if there has been no change at this time, then maybe there is hope. Anyway, in my opinion, Thomas Marine is one of the largest well respected marine dealers in the area and a good fit for BassCat. If a change does come, I hope it is for the better. Good luck in your business dealings in this area and lets hope the “family” can continue to grow in South Louisiana.Jim HebertEveryone should believe in something. I believe Ill just go fishing!

    Boy, its amazing what you can learn on a BassCat forum. I cant wait to try some of this. Shap, you have some good tips there…..never heard of the baking soda trick. ThanksEveryone should believe in something. I believe Ill just go fishing!
