The info provided for ordering old Perko keys at top of thread is accurate and does work. I bought a 98 Jaguar recently that was missing keys. Contacted BassCat parts and they tried but were unable to locate keys for my 16 year old boat. Called Perko and they had them. Great service from BassCat and Perko in this case. Happy to have joined the BassCat family even if my boat is a little on the mature side

Thank you for the insight. Took a closer look at it and is screwed down on the outer edges of both sides. Not a problem for the outer edge but the inner edge is impossible to get to without unhinging the lid. It is not only possible but likely a previous owner replaced it…although I dont know how.I will give parts a call to see if a shorter strap is available. If so, that solves the problem…Ill just cut the old one off.Thank you for your quick reply!

Yep. After I posted the question I went out to take another look. Followed the fill hose as suggested by grybrd and Cajunhunter is exactly right. Port is next to windshield. Not where I would have expected but happy to find it. Bled the system and there is a major improvement. I was able to move the engine 2+ inches on the push rod. Now I only about 1/2 inch. Ill go take a closer look at the allen head adjustment mentioned by grybrd to see if I can get further improvement.By the way, that Seastar fluid is NOT cheap!
