I running an 06 Puma w/Merc 22 ProXS on a hydrolic plate. Current best top end is 73 even. Im still working on finding the correct engine height. I think that I may yet get 74 !I went with the 27P on Garys recommendation. However, most of the folks I have spoken with seemed to think the 27P was a mistake, but I am well pleased. Hole shot is the best I have ever had on any boat, and I am pleased with acceleration. I have been surprised to find out that these Pumas seem to like a low set engine. No matter how I load, my boat runs best with the plate moved to its lowest position.
