    There is no jack plate on the boat would like to know what the recommended one is for this set up . A friend of mine told me it would handle better with one one it Im sure the newer Basscats are incredible but so are the older ones ) besides a few scratches on the hull this boat is on showroom condition a tribute to the Basscat manufactures I plan on running it until I cannot fish anymore lol and Im 60 now

( I.M.H.O. ) — Whatever you do , just be sure to make sure your control cables , fuel / oil hoses , and steering will work with the jackplate . — Nothing worse than starting a project and not being able to finish it without modifying and / or replacing parts you hadnt counted on . — Take care , and God bless . — Mark – aka BigcatterThank you sir youve answered my questions well i am looking in hydraulic steering also that step will probably be after the jack plate take care and God bless you also
