    Any time I have removed and replaced a prop I have always torqued it to Specs. In this case I hadnt done anything to it other than check it like I always do after a day of fishing. I normally will give it a shake or two and spin it when I am hooking up my straps and will also look to make sure the kotter key is still in the prop nut.

    On Robs advice I called Sanderson Prop and he was right. They have seen 3 or 4 in the past two summers. Yamaha has replaced the brass with a new material. Coat for a thrust washer is now about 160.00. Imagine that!

    You are right Lawson101. Thats what happend to mine. I am waiting on the dealer to contact Yamaha. I have a feeling I will either need anger management classes or some kind of medacation realy soon. Rob the E-mail is on the way. Good info on the pump, I will have them check on it.

    By the way Gabe, Why did you have to pay for the repair? Out of warranty or no warranty? thanksJim
