Gentlemen, thank you all for your responses. Your comments about the breakers not having anything to do with charging make sense. (Since they were original to the boat I guess it’s just as well that I’m replacing them.)
Although I haven’t yet checked them with the voltmeter, I believe the batteries are fine. Sunday morning before removing the breakers I tested the trolling motor and it ran strong, just as if the batteries had charged overnight.
What puzzles me most is that the red/green lights went out simultaneously. It just seems odd that it would happen that way.
