In KY we dont pay sales tax if boat is bought from an individual. We do have to pay sales tax if its bought from a dealership. I know a lot of other states are the same way

I wish these boats werent located at dealerships. In KY we dont have to pay sales tax if buying through an individual, we do have to pay sales tax if buying from a dealer. That extra 3k that isnt necessary is a deal breaker in most instances
