Thanks for the advice guys. Maybe for this tournament and practice, Ill just run with it trimmed down some and not at peak. Do you think I am going to hurt anything as long as I dont get the horn? WHat is a Poppit valve? I had a similar issue with a 3.0 L EFI once on the same boat and it was some valve that had to deal with oil pumping into the reservoir. But I dont know if it is that because like I said, the horn will go off and not come back on unless you have it trimmed all the way at WOT. Plus the fault reading was water pressure. THey just told me they replaced the thermostat. I dont know if they did one or both? I guess I need to check and get back to you. Surely they would have done both. I dont have a temp guage, water guage, smart craft etc.., just the basics for this poor arkie

Just wanted to let you know, it must have been the Jackplate. I got up close and looked and it seemed as if there was a slight mark where it use to be, so I lowered it about 1/2 inch to that mark. Ran 2 tanks of gas wide open so far this week and it hasnt gone off again. Dont ask how it must have moved up, but problem fixed.

Thanks for the support guys. It was a great trip and i really had fun catching several big fish. I couldnt quite pull it together that last day. I had them on, but couldnt get them in the net, broke off, spit hook, etc…, but I was pretty fortunate to not lose them earlier in the week, otherwise I wouldnt have made it there. I guess we got some great footage of the fish coming off, but I would have rather had the money! The Bass Cat performed flawlessly. I just love the size, the ride, the performance, and manuverability of the Pantera model BCB. This is supposedly one of BCBs “economy” priced boats, yet it outperforms and outfishes other brands that carry a much higher price tag! Why would you ever pay more for another brand when you have everything you need in this model, and the outstanding customer service that Bass Cat provides?

Well if you had to leave your boat at the motel and fish out of their boat for two days, youd be disappointed too… Just kidding, of course. I know, I tried to put on my best smile and get over it, but I lost an easy 5 in the net, a 4+ close to the boat and then broke one off. It was hard to forget about those fish when i saw how close I was. Either one of those fish would have been an additional $20K. Got some great footage though. Watch it on VS. on August 2nd.
