I run mine at 2.5″ on the ruler or 7 on the gauge. 4″ for holeshot. I have a 12 talon also. Hope this helps

I had a helix 12 on it. You can still tilt the graph some with the factory bracket. It has a little angle so sits level. Its simple mount. 4 bolts. Included
