If the boat is still for sale please send me the pictures please. Thank you
Thanks! Saw one when they first came out and have been waiting for the right opportunity to own one. Its my dream boat, and it did not disappoint this weekend in some rough water. It rides big and is one heck of a fishing platform. With the 250 on the back it gets up and goes quicker than I would have expected.
Great colors – best of luck with your new rig. I bet you get lots of questions. Enjoy!
I saw those yesterday – very cool!
Ditto on Texoma, Tawakoni is also an excellent choice. Hard to not mention Lake Fork if you are a bass fanatic.
Thanks – it has a hydraulic jack plate on it and it is currently up about 1-3/4″. Going to drop it down all the way and see what it does.
Make sure you use the anti-seize grease when you do the install. If you make a mistake and want to back off one of those nuts they are impossible to reverse! Yes, we made that mistake
The decal on the oil tank calls out the need for it to be tight, not sure what the difference is between tight and too tight, but maybe it just needs to be checked. Mine went off and a little more oil and a quarter of a turn more fixed it. Took a sharpie and marked a line on the cover in silver and the tank in black. Probably over kill, but what the heck!
Recently bought a new truck which is a 4×4, and had a similar problem when backing up into the driveway. Wondering if the slightly higher ball height might cause this?
If you are inclined to shop around, many of the guys in TX have had a very good experience with “shut up and fish”. You can google them and they will send you prices via email.Good Luck!Tom
If you are considering a Jaguar, JPs boat was listed for sale on the forum. This boat model does not come up for sale often, and when one does someone will jump on it. I have had mine for almost a year now and love it. Nothing like it in big water.Good Luck!Tom
The risk you run is having low voltage going to your electronics. If you run dual units plus live wells etc, at the same time you might have some funky screen images that will drive you nuts trying to trouble shoot. Like others I prefer to go with 4.
I have often wondered about that and watched a nice boat slide right off the bunks on to the ramp in cold weather. Water on the easy slide bunks froze and the rest is history. I have spent some time trying to master the drive on process and found that if you get the trailer depth just right it is easier.Good luck!
Welcome to the family, you made a great choice.
Great boat at a great price – anyone looking to move up to a great Big Cat needs to look at this one. Might involve a long drive or a plane ticket but it will be worth the trip.
