    Thanks for the reply. The old 200xri motor had a high five 25p and it ran about 65 in smooth water.  The guy who replaced the motor said that this was too much prop for the new motor as it doesnt have as much power and suggested a Tempest 23. He also suggested about 3.25 PTP as a starting point on the height. I am new to trying adjust motor height and props. I never messed with adjusting the old motor as it was setup when I bought it from original owner and seemed to work . My boat has twin 25 gallon fuel tanks in the back as well as 3 batteries. It is heavy when there is lots of fuel and both live wells full of water. I was hoping someone has set one of these older boats up before and had some good suggestions on what worked for them and would be willing to share.
