If you have to tighten them back up should they just be snug or is there a torque for them? Mine have loosen and I just snugged them up. They have nylon lock nuts on them.

Thanks for the info. I used a transom saver on my last Cat and never had a problem, just making sure. I kinda thought they have addressed his before by did not see it. thanks again……….

Already figued that one out. Had to trim the ome leg so it didnt hit the light bar. But thanks for all the input

Thanks for all the responses. I measured the top of the ball for my last Tahoe(2005) it was 15″ from the ground with a 3″ drop. I put the 3″ drop in the new Tahoe and measured and it was 22″ to the ground. That said I think I need a 10″ drop. This truck has 20″ tires and wheels. I am looking at one of the adjustable ones. The solid bars have a trailer weight rating of 6000 pounds. I think this should be enough.

Any thoughts??

Well we are not coming for a while. Wife fell, missed the last stair coming down from upstairs and broke her ankle. She needed surgery to place a plate and 4 screws. Hopefully we will make it in a about a month or so. Chris
