not quite a hamster in a cage – I went with the 175 ProXS, she should get up and scoot pretty good.Also got the HB SI graph in the dash and some flashy colors on the boat – I should stand out in a crowd.

I have a 797cSI on my Sabre FTD , it has 2 transducers with a switch to change from thru the hull to the one mounted on the transom . I have not lost bottom contact going 60MPH+ when using the thru hull transducer – I use the the outside transducer only for SI reading (10 MPH and slower) Hope that helps

John: Where is your jackplate? I have mine about 1/8 higher than flush – I did raise it before about 1/2″ over flush , the boat ran better but I still got the alarms so I lowered it.
