I am seeing this same problem myself. Last time I tried to go out, I unplugged the charger at about 6:00 PM and when I got to the lake at 6:30 AM, there wasnt enough juice to start the big engine. Can anyone tell me exactly why this is not a flaw in the system? I have been through two cranking batteries in less than a year. When the main switch is off and the starter key is off and the alarm is off and the bilge pumps are not set on auto and all of the hatches are closed, the boat should *not* be drawing any current from the cranking battery.I would like to hear an official response form BassCat on this. Thanks,Dennis

It is a 2008 factory (demo) rigged Cougar FTD with a 250 Merc Pro XS. It originally had 4 Trojan SC200s (3 x trolling, 1 x cranking). The cranking battery could not hold a charge after 4 months (boat was 1 year old when I bought it under full warranty). I replaced it with a(n Academy) Stowaway 525 Amps cranking battery. I had successfully used Stowaways on my 2000 Panther II w/150 HP Mariner with no problem.Maybe it is my on-board charger showing green too early; but of the battery was fully charged at 6 PM, there is no way it should have died after one or two cranks the next morning. All advice is welcome. Thanks,Dennis

Bilge is dry as a bone. Same trolling motor. Maybe a few more worms bags in the front tackle locker, but thats it.
