Guess I wasn’t too clear yesterday. All lights work on the vehicle. Fuse is fine. Emergency flashers work fine as do turn signals on the vehicle but not the trailer, only lights I have on the trailer is when I have my running lights turned on in the vehicle.

Tried to cross plug as you suggested and got nothing.

I assume this means it’s in the trailer wiring or lights?

Next step?

Have not noticed any appreciable “wobble” with my 06 Sabre. I have the deck insert and there is plenty of room up there for 2, but Im not inviting anyone up there too often. Only complaint I have is how often I get out. And could someone turn the heat down a bit. Joe

Thanks for the suggestions and giving some directions to pursue. I threw this one out on the Merc board at BBC as well so hopefully I can get it straightened out. Funny thing is that both times it happened I had my brother out showing him what a nice boat I purchased. Well the boats just fine! Dang motor!!

KY is suspect at best! If two Arlansas defenders dont run into each other and create one the most bizarre roughing the kicker calls Ive seen, the Hogs have the ball and an 8pt lead with about 7 minutes to go.The week before the Wildcats were 35 seconds away from being beaten by what has now been exposed as a poorly coached, underperforming Louisville team who was beaten by Syracuse of all people on Saturday. I enjoy reading the back and forth you SEC guys have here but please dont elevate KY beyond there true position. And by the way, the forward pass is a legal play, even in Arkansas.

Getting your line in the water does pose an impediment to solving the seat time thing!! But as dry and hot as it has been in KY/IN I might as well just leave the rods at home. Probably not…

lreddmann, I wouldnt hesitate to buy that Sabre FTD. As I stated mine is an 06 so the Sabre FTD was not available, otherwise… I know most love the speed of the larger boats and on bigger water Im sure I would want something larger too, but I find the 150 to be plenty and the fuel economy you will love. Mine fishes great and the FTD probably that much better. I do love my dual axle trailer if for no other reason than appearance.. I guess you need to be concerned about re-sale if you have too much in an 18ft boat but if you plan to keep it,go for it! Put me down as satisfied…

lreddmann,Dont worry about the original post. Your story is mine almost exactly just about a year ago this time. First time bass boat buyer and all…If you can get the FTD at your budget you will have done good. As I said earlier, 1 year later and no buyers remorse. You will be proud of your purchase. Beware if you are married, just tell her there is going to be a new honey in town!

Yes it has been an amazing transition. Speaking as a Louisville fan I can tell you nobody here is looking forward to that trip. I guess the only question is that with a recruiting hotbed like that in their own back yard, what took so long? I guess you answered that. Enjoy…Joe
