    Byron Paul Velvick (born June 24, 1964) is a two-time WON Bass U.S. Open champion fisherman who previously held the BASS record for three-day limit (Apr.13-15, 2000 in Clear Lake California).[1] Velvick spent two years as a commentator for the ESPN2 show BassCenter from 2005 to 2006.[2] He has also been an on-the-water reporter and contributing analyst for ESPN’s fishing coverage.[3]

    You’re welcome, I would like to have been more helpful. I bought a 1988 Sabre last month and didn’t find anything near that interesting!!

    Just a thought, you could consider sending him a message through Messenger from his FB page and tell him of your discovery, maybe he would provide some insight.

    Jamey my last cat was a 2005 with the 225 was a great boat and the 225 surprised me as what it could do are you putting a250 on it. don’t remember if I showed you pic of that 1 think I showed you the 92 with the 150 super six Suzuki on it. and the 98 pIII. hope to be back on line soon still wating on old phone

    That is awesome!! I worked in customer service well over 20 years and this is the absolute best example I have had the pleasure of watching play out from an observer point of view. I started following this from early out of curiosity and I’m glad I did. Way to go, BCB!!!

    I have an 88 Sabre with an 89 Johnson GT 150. Engine has low hours and runs real nice! I have everything but the speedometer working! Now for new carpet and getting the shine back!!

    Thank you, I appreciate the information you’ve provided. I do have another request, if it’s not too much trouble, would it be possible to get the part numbers for the stanchions? There are some listed on eBay that may work. Thanks again!
