Thanks Chris, I would like to take you up on that offer but Im in NW AR. The guy I bought it from is getting his new Puma today and is buying a 3 blade 25p tempest so I will be able to try that one. That rpm was with both tanks full, no water in live wells, all gear, two people “180 & 220” hole shot is awsome but I would like to be able to run it without worrying about rpm going past 6k year round as long as I still have decent hole shot which I could lose some and not hurt to much. Not using any fuel additive just oil for the 2-smoke.

Phil, I just had it de-carboned and he said two plugs were fouled. Not bad I guess considering they were original 2001 plugs. Any way the reason I was looking at switching oils was the carbon issue along with the marine shop that sells Wake Runner is located right next to my office and its under 14.00 gallon otherwise I probably would run Mercury. I just want to make sure it is a good oil like he said and not him just making a sales pitch although he does run it in two of his boats with one being a Basscat. Ive never been big on additives but you think this Quickleen is worth the money and on every tank or maybe every other fill up?

Thanks for the input. I went to Sportsmans Warehouse last night and they had 30% off on their rain gear. I ended up getting a Stearns Mach 1 bibs and jacket normally 260.00 for 178.00+ uncle sams part. They are very comfortable. Is there some basscat logos I could put on them? I will still buy a pair of the basscats when the become available again because I have friends with them and the say they are awesome.
