    Ok guys just posting this for anyone else having this issue. Inside the outer shell of fiberglass about 2 inches is another layer of glass. Once I drilled through it I was able to run a fish tape over and out the access hole in the back

    Ok thanks for the reply. So I am not that familiar with boat building. What I believe you are saying is there is a chamber on the bow side of the rear bench seat filled with flotation foam. What is damage have I caused in going through this chamber? Could I just fill the hole with spray foam once I run my wires. I believe you are saying the two inch open space doesn’t go completely to the bow side of the seat and also doesn’t go completely to the end of the seat on either the port and starboard side. Would I be better mounting my Ram mount ball and wiring hole on top of the seat approx in line with where I have drilled but far enough towards the stern to miss the foam chamber?
