I had a 2015 ZX Skeeter before the Cougar I have now, and I had it coated. I found it to last about 2 years on what should have been a 10 year coating. A good quality soap and some old fashion elbow grease I think does more good than the 1000 dollar coating.

I’ve got a buddy that just sent his jag back to Basscat for the same reason. It went back to the factory where they removed they removed the fender and reattached to allow for the proper clearance. His rubbed bad enough that it actually scarred the gel coat on the boat. As in true Basscat style, they took care of it and made it better than new.
