Ive got a few different ones from Columbia. I have to say theres one of them I prefer the most for hot summer days.I dont know the model name of it, but the fabric is 100% polyester instead of nylon. It is definitely thinner weight material than my 100% nylon shirts, and the fabric closely resembles the feel of the Under Armour.Im a warm-natured person, and unfortunately have a lot of skin cancer in the family, so Ive always lathered up in SPF1,000,000 and threw on a short sleeve shirt…until I made the switch two years ago.I always felt like lathering up in SPF5000 kept me from sweating efficiently, but now I feel cooler with no sunscreen but a long sleeve shirt.

I live out here in the southwest part of Virginia, and there isnt a BCB dealer within a few hours.Greene Boat and Motor is pretty much the closest place at 3.5hrs…I have to say, though, Andy and everybody else that I met at the open house were great. (including lengthy discussions with Ray Winan, Monica Altman, and of course Rick Pierce)But, itd be nice to have a dealer much closer in the western part of the state. Its sad to hear Pops is closing as it seems like most of the Cat owners in the state are over there near the Hampton Roads area.

Yeah, if the radio is a Sony unit with the rounded corners, Im reasonably certain those head units have an auxiliary input (headphone jack) on the rear.Sony does offer a Sirius tuner that also plugs into the rear of the head unit. The benefit of this piece is that you control the channel surfing right there from the head unit, and all the rest of the working bits are store away somewhere. The downside, is that it is not transferrable from boat to vehicle.A “regular” XM or Sirius standalone “dock and play” unit offers the flexibility of going from truck to boat. One unit, one subscription, multiple locations (obviously not simultaneously). You would probably want to get a second vehicle mounting kit – one for boat, one for vehicle. (the car kits come with 12V adapter; home kits with 120V and converter) The audio connection between the DnP unit is made through the AUX input on the rear of the receiver…pretty straightforward. I have a DnP unit in my commuter car, and a home kit w/generic alarm clock radio with AUX input for my work office. Its been at least two years since Ive listened to terrestrial radio. And even back then, I usually was playing CDs or an iPod.The other benefit to the DnP route is that it allows the user to decide between XM or Sirius. Music-wise, theyll be pretty much the same…just different names for different channels of music genre. The bigger difference is between the sports broadcasting and talk radio programming. Personally, I prefer Opie and Anthony to Stern but thats a whole different discussion. Of course, if you happen to have a iPhone, theres a app for that too. (software- and hardware-wise)

Bngolfn, this one is gonna be rigged with the 115 ProXS. I dont need a “go fast” boat…getting out on the water and riding to the destination is as much fun to me as the fishing itself. But even with “just” the 115 ProXS, speeds are projected to be in the low 50s. Really cant wait to see how the charcoal, silver, and blue black look in the sun. And more importantly, how it rides out in the water!

Thanks for the kind words!Maybe I worded that a little funny – I cant wait to see it shining in the sun, which means itll be here Its gonna get even better looking with the seats in. Eventually, will have the passenger console too, when those come out. Gotta make the CEO/CFO happy!Only thing that could make it look better is to have me in it edit: FYI – that *is* a custom color. The boot is black, hull is silver. Hull insert and trim stripe are charcoal and blue black, respectively. Trailer fenders will be charcoal. The white center section in the boat cant be changed. The console color also must be the same as the ends of the topcap – no “reverse” option. I probably wouldve played with the center section and probably wouldve “reversed” the console. Dont get me wrong, Im REALLY happy with the way it looks! But as far as how far one can go with color schemes, its fairly limited…though it makes perfect sense in order to keep overall costs (and weight) down. Trade you for a 2012 Margay. Delivery is way too close to select colors, but dealer-installed options is still a possibility!Wont get you there quite as fast, but itll get you there on less fuelSharp rig, Fly, and a great list of standards/options. Cant imagine it lasting long before getting snapped up

There is no doubt about that! My wait, on the other hand, is soon to be over.
