Your Interstate had plenty of ccas and mcas, but had a low reserve, typical of 24 series batteries. In typical bass boat applications, with livewells being used, graphs, shallow water anchors, etc., a higher reserve capacity is required. That is possibly why your battery had a short life. If your new Optima has a significantly higher reserve, and your charger is compatible with AGM batteries, then you should be good. Your XRI likely has lower cranking requirements than the 800 and 1000 than the Opti requires.
