Does a Humminbird 360 bow mount on a fortrex 112 affect top end speed of a Cougar FTD? If so how much? Thank you
You can add it to an A frame trailer, though they will have to custom build the step. The center grab post part will be a custom part also. Notify [email protected] that you have needs for an A frame grab post and step. They can make it happen, though the wait might be an extra week or so. BCB
EK may be able tohelp out.
The way I understand it is you wont see production pictures on facebook until after the boat is built. I have a puma ftd that was supposedly to leave the factory yesterday if all went as planned but have only seen one production picture from the dealer. It would be nice to see pictures in progress but Im sure thats a lot of extra work on BCB free time for our pleasure.Im looking forward to seeing the production pictures though…I may even print them out and put them in an album
Bass1958,check Facebook they posted some today. Not sure which dealership your working with.
In the past, the answer has been no. I dont know if anything has been changed. Im sure BCB will be along shortly to answer this question.
no
I asked and was told no. I am going to remove the carpert on the floor in the cockpit and get a liner sprayed in.
I was wondering the same thing when I saw a picture of a Yar Craft with sea dek about a year ago if they would try and bring it to the Bass Cat side… Only issue I could think of would be the gap between box/livewell lids
The guy that bought my 2010 removed the carpet and put some kind of liner in it. Looked pretty sharp
A boat with some kind of rubberized floor in the cockpit area only would be nice as all the junk and dirt seems to end up there. The heavy carpet that BassCat uses on the decks is very kind to your feet and back on a long day and it really acts well as a sound barrier. It looks great also.
One of our concerns with a SeaDeck style floor is the amount of wear it would get on th hours we use one. Other boats dont really get the hours of use we do on bass boats. We put 75-150 engine hours on a year, and 1,000 plus hours of use total, mostly on the decks. The cost to replace a SeaDeck style flooring would be HUGE aftermarket. Thus on long term use we anticipate a replacement cost of $4,000 for a SeaDeck style floor, one boat worth what in the 10-12 years age? We think carpeting is just a more feasible option to the matting that is becoming more popular. The argument will be saltwater (blue water) boats use it, though they honestly dont fish blue water boats fom the decks. They often use other padding and thicker more durable pads behind the high use console area. They have fisherman matting at the rear for anglers and its not moisture absorbent. Weve spent plenty of time on the topic and in the years to come we see a major challenge after Age. Our walleye boats only see a fraction to 30-40% of the use our bass models do with a Yar-Craft on an annual use. BCB
Thanks BCB. I understand that for yall the long term cost for most owners is not worth it. I just hate carpet.
Adding the 360 bow mount to your Fortex will have some effect though not major. EDITED: 11/2/2017
