Put one on my Sabre – used the old wires to pull heavy twine thru to fish the new wires in. Duct tape is your friend – tape around the string to smooth the transition and itll pull thru just fine. It is good to have someone help pulling the wires so you can both finesse the wires thru. Pull the cowl vent and reach in.Dont know how youre mounting the unit itself – but, the Sherms mount is outstanding. Puts the unit right below your field of vision so its easy to navigate with mapping.
