There are those who don’t mind the hook in the middle opinion section. Those that don’t like the hook are emphatic we find, and those who admire it are less enthusiastic. If any of us don’t admire (insert like here) something, we tend to be more vocal than those who admire (insert like again) something.
The hook has reached a definite contingency that has opposition to it. It is hard to do, it was very hard to model (tool) in the plug and it is extremely difficult to color and tape.
This leads us to a crossroad.
I agree. I know there have been a few issues with the quality of the hook after production. If it is difficult to maintain a consistent quality product (Hook) due to the prep and manufacturing process, than eliminate it. I would purchase the P Classic with or without the hook.
I believe majority of customers will purchase the boat without the hook. They purchase the BCB product for the same reason most do, Performance, tournament decks, quality, and top customer service.
We have a few new P Classics in my area, and all of them love the new boats. None complained about the hook.
