All of the dimensions are in the individual boat specs. on the boat pages.
thanks i was just wondering if it would be any shorter with the motor turned than what the dimensions say?
The Pantera Classic has always performed well with a 150 hp engine on it, and will be a low to mid 60s rig. BCB ran many of them for a long time when the BASS rules had a 150 max. hp limit. The length isnt effected that much by just turning the engine, but angling the boat usually does the trick ! D.
I have a 06 Classic w/ 150 Opti, top speed 63.2 gps with myself(200#), gear and 3/4 tank of gas, comparable to others18.5 ft. with 150s. Very respectable holeshot no complaints, fuel consumption is great uses less than my old 90. As strictly recreational angler it serves my needs nicely and I plan on keeping it for a long time. However if you are considering swapping rigs later on (the 150 may hurt resale), or if you will be doing mostly tournament fishing I would strongly consider the 200 hp.
looks like i wll be looking at a sabre…..my garage with the extra 6 inches from the sheetrock taken out would only be 207″ not enough room for a pantera.
Yes that is correct unless you can angle it. My garage is 218″ and the P2 just fits.
could you email some pics to ]
Could you send me pics if you get a min. Also, is this a single or dual console? thosier@hotmail.com Thax.
Lowrance 500 series units will fit into the dash and I believe the Humminbird is the 700 series size units.
Yes, the smaller screens will fit in the 07 Pantera Classic.
Is this boat still for sale?
They were probably not selling enough. They still have the Pantera II and IV. I have a Classic but would probably buy a II or IV unless there were a significant savings to buy the Classic.Boats have a lot in common with cameras, believe it or not. Everybody wants what the “Pros” are using.
Thought the p4 they quit producing2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury
The Pantera Classic was dated and ended life on lower production as well as mold quality. They announced at that time the Pantera Classic was in retooling for an entirely new model and is the only model announcement made to date. It has been in R&D for over a year and is a major focus presently for next year. Hull and stringer are completed and they are in deck stages now, it has been wet also. It will resemble present designs with some variation on theme. They are on track to have it completed for 2017 Excellence In Action with a totally new hull, new deck and a price tag fitting the middle class. They intend to rig these with 150 engines stock and rate it for 200 also. This ones an entire rebuild ground up with no sharing. The entire hull and decks a ground up including fuel tank design. The group of the intended market is (1) young professionals and post college adult, (2) mid and aging retirement sectors that just dont want a 20 and 250 tournament beast, and (3) those mid aged families with high school and college students. They hope to release it in Mountain Home this July.
