I have same boat and engine-95 model,i bought this boat 2 months ago and it has an a40 23p tempest(no plugs)and mine does the same thing,bow drops at slow speeds and in turns unless im running 5000 rpms and up.I think the only way to stop this is to have someone like Rich Boger tune the props to our boats,from the posts i have read on bass fishing home page(props)his prop tuning gives all around better performance and lift at slower speeds,im thinking of sending him mine!Brian.

The larger diameter should be the one for a V-6 and we would go to a 25″ pitch.BCB

Yes it will work I will send it and you have 7 days after signing for package to try. I have been having people buy prop use for a week then want refund do a little research call closet prop shop and what do you know theres is getting fixed. This way I dont get mixed up with all extra paperwork. I try to be fair as possible and let a person use before they drop 400 or 500 bucks

26 Trophy on a 225 ETec. And we do like a 27 Tempest on new 250 HO motors on 08 hulls.

That is the necessary wheel for many of the 225 models. The 26 is too tall for many applications. We listed the 26 and many do run it, though we think either is the choice, depending on your rig. BCB

Thanks BCB, I believe i will leave it alone. Just thought the hub may been to small, got a good bit of smoke soot on the front o.d. of hub

You have it pretty much dialed in……..just seat time and enjoy! So long as water pressure is good(at least 13 psi or more) the 25 will handle that load, especially in warmer months when typically rpms go down some.96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner

maybe bent prop shaft, prop up against the side of the lowerunit keeping it from turning, Is this not turning with the motor running and in gear?
