Bass Cat Boats:
Actually on the Pantera II we would suggest a 23” Fury first. The 22” Fury we suggest be tried on a Pantera Classic.
Dam that explains why I can’t get my classic above 5700 with the fury24 3b

Thanks for the update Jim I have been following this post and barrigj results with the trophy plus. Good to know it’s working well for you also . I have the 24 fury and low rpm on my 2021 P2. Think I will go in this direction also!!! Thanks again Andy
Andy, I see no reason why you shouldn’t have the same or better results with your P2. That’s why this Forum is good to follow and you can get good information from folks that have been there/done that. The term “remarkable” was not an exaggeration because of the way your boat will drive compared to the Fury. I will PM you to let you know where you can get a Trophy plus. They are hard to come by and the dealer had one left so I’ll send you that info. Glad to see that this post helped you out.
Jim
I ordered mine with a 25P Bravo. Fingers crossed.

Yes, I see that you are getting a P2. I hope the Bravo serves you well. That is the only other prop I would consider trying but just don’t know the correct pitch for the P2. Looking forward to hearing how the Bravo works for you.

Same for me. Classic came with 24 Fury 3. Getting 72 mph with me alone, but only around 5700 rpm’s. I have always run 3 blade Furys on all of my Cats, so not sure whether to just pitch down with the 3 blade or try a 4 blade.

Catdude I would suggest trying to borrow a 23 Trophy Plus and giving it a try. That might not be easy though because I don’t think there are that many around but you never know.
Since I am near the Rev limit with the 24 Fury 3, I figure I may need to step up to a 26 Trophy Plus for my 2S 200 Merc?
I am currently running a 24 Fury 4 that was worked by Ronnie due to it hitting the Rev limiter.
Its running well at 5700 70.2 mph. My back up prop is the Fury 3. I may sell it to get the Trophy plus as a back up or vice versa with the Fury 4.

I’m running a 22P Fury 3 on my 2020 Classic right now and am up around 6000 RPM and 71+ MPH. I haven’t had a long enough stretch of water yet to see how far past 71 I can go. I sold my 24P Fury 3 since I like this one better. I also run a 25P Bravo 1FS sometimes, I like it if I have 2 or 3 people in the boat and if I want to cruise 40-55 MPH will good bow lift.

What RPM do you get with the Bravo?

It’s been a few months since I’ve ran it but I want to say maybe 5600-5800 RPM.
can you send me the details for the trophy plus 23, like how much and where to get one.

To whom is this question for? I’ll tell you that I found one at a Florida Mercury Dealer and bought mine. He had one more and it is now sold too. My local dealer says that Mercury told them that this prop would not be available until maybe April of 2021. Try calling some of the Dealers on the BBC sponsor’s list and see if they have one or can tell you when they will be available. I don’t know of anyone that has one to sell at this time.
my boat is in production and wont be ready until june, I will contact them tomorrow about it, would you recommend I just go off the bat with that prop your using or wait and see what they fit me with and try it out first?

Are you getting a Pantera II built or a Classic? I don’t have direct experience with the new Classic so I would suggest you try and find a Classic owner running the 22 Fury 3 as BCB recommends. CK11 who posted above is running the 22 Fury so I would communicate with him to see his thoughts on it because he has “been there/done that”.
Now if I were getting a Pantera II built I would put the 23 Trophy plus on it for sure. I spent a year chasing props until I got the Trophy and it does a great job and I have “been there/done that”.
