You can loosen the bolt and twist the bow roller for more life.

No, it is a bump stop and should not spin.

Mine fits very tight between the metal arms just about having to be driven in with a rubber mallet. I bought a new one and shaved 1/16 off each side, which allows me to at least rotate it by hand to extend the life of it.

Any tricks to installing it? Was hoping I can lift the bow with some weight in the back and slide it in. Shaving would take more time and complicate the install. Didnt expect that.

Mrbraq, next time you go fishing just launch boat and replace it. It is a simple job and if you have to shave it a bit, you just take your time.

Just bring afew tools and swap them at the boat ramp next time you launch the boat.

Usually I just put a 2×6 on top a floor jack at the very back of the Hambay bumper. It takes very little force to lift the bow off the roller. (Take the bow strap off).
If the roller wants to fit a bit tight, you can spread the bars with a Ford or Crescent wrench. Don’t over tighten the bow bolt.

I have always had to tap it into place. when I have rotated it, I tap it out, move it 180 and tap it back in. other than having to jack the front of the boat up or carry my tools to the ramp, there isn’t a big hassle
