dont think the pros dont? got bass pro,tackle warehouse,a 4 wheeler and a turkey fryer with all the storage in my cougar ftd.vibration from a damaged prop will ruin a lower unit quickly
Always carry spare in the boat.
Ive always carried a spare. Interestingly, Ive never had to use it but Ive bailed out 2 others over the years that needed one!
never been one to take foolish chances . learned my lesson with the rubber hubs thirty five ago .
Like Buckeye I made a spare prop carrier for the bilge area of the boat. Works great and is out of the way unless I need it. Spare hub fits, too.
