You appear to be new to the board so welcome to the family. Most BCB owners have to trim the ends of the transom saver because it will hit the light strip and do damage to the lights. Just cut about 1/2 inch off each side of the “C” where it goes over the roller. This will give you the clearance you need to avoid this in the future. Looks like you found your problem. Great now order a new one from BCB, trim your transom saver and you will be set to go. Everyone should believe in something. I believe Ill just go fishing!

Mine went out too so not surprising.You could cut the wire going to the strip and tape it up until you get a replacement so you dont miss a fishing trip.
