Frustrated:Cajunhunter67 wrote:tighten-the-axle-t36461.htmlCheck for loosening of the axle. This post is interesting to me.I currently have my trailer at the dealer because of both rear axles being loose at the torsion arm.I tried to tighten, but barely moved, even with a cheater bar.It is a 2013 P2 that I purchased as new in July 2015. Are torsion axles that susceptible to impacts, no mater how minor? When I go over speed bumps or any rough areas in roads, it is usually at a crawl. Many of the roads I tow the boat on are horrible. I slow down, but not to a crawl by any means.I would back it out and making sure it hasnt stretched the threads. Than torque them down again. A couple drops of Loctite wont hurt.I do believe standard practice should be to re-torque again after a few trips. (After the first time torqueing it down)After that it should be good.150ft lbs is A LOT of umph. It shouldnt move after.
