Rick, thanks for stepping in. Ive avoided all the political stuff, as many of us have issues that affect us differently based our our careers, location, and beliefs. Now that these elections are over with, I would only hope all the anger turns to activism. Whether your candidates won or lost, we need to relay our opinions to our elected officials, and make sure they know where we stand.The Ethanol loss, attempts to limit or ban lead in fishing lures and hunting ammo, and possible limitations on fishing areas can all be fought if we voice our opinions in a sane and proper manner.We voted, and now the rants should end. Yes, my party took control of the house, but dont think for one minute Im done with them. Now that theyre elected, they owe all of us the representation we provided them the honor of receiving.Al

Testiment to the vision of the founding fathers.They were brilliant.We have once again a re-balance of power.The people have spoken again.The power is in the middle class.If we quite fighting amongst ourselfs, we can turn washington on its head.Ruling government creates division by design. Party, class, religious and ethnic separation.It works. Remember United we stand, divided we fall ???

Guess I missed most of the original post issues………at least I didnt get an “inbox” message.Doesnt matter which “party” you prefer…….Democrat, Republican, Green, Independent, Tea Party……..the fact of the matter is that people went to vote.The largest changeover from party control in the House in over 70 years. The Senate division being narrowed considerably. Even state and local governments saw people speak out. The events of this election should wake up politicians and serve notice that we Americans expect more and are willing to make changes. If people are really sincere about taking back control of our country this is a first step. Not that Republicans won, nor Democrats lost, or vice versa. Show politicians that there needs to be a common ground to meet the needs of the people. Be willing to make changes, tenured politicians need to understand it is a privilege to work for American people, not a right to gain personal wealth.
