You can put some 3M weather black strip tapearound the hall and they will stop moving.

I have had both the small and the medium sized ram mounts on the rail of mine and it holds a HDS 10 or 9 Touch quite well.Ill look into those. Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

High Cotton wrote:I took the rope cleat out in front of the shifter and drilled the Ram mount holes to fit. This way I didnt drill any holes in the boat. When I get ready to sell Ill pull this out and put the cleat back in. Its rock solid,,,,thats an 1198 sitting on a 2.25 inch RAM ball. Its never moved on Toledo, Barnett, Miss River, Pickwick. The gear shifter wont go all the way down but that hasnt been an issue either. Did the holes line up or did you have to drill new holes? Did you put screws in all the RAM mount holes?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for the idea, will look into that option.Bass Pro sells a product called Stern Saver that is a nylon block you epoxy to your hull for transducer mounting. Comes with block and epoxy and works great. They have 2 different sizes available. May be exactly what youre looking for. Dont know how big the pump is but you could always use more than one if needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Download the Tapatalk app on your phone. Way easier to follow forum and upload pics. The other app it recommends is broken. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

JLeon77 wrote:I want to put a cull tag holder inside the lid of my livewll so they are there when I need them. I have tried to do this a number of times, once with the double stick tape that came on the holder, and once with some epoxy and neither has worked. My livewell has the standard “foam” insulation on the inside of the livewell lid. What is the best way to “stick” something to that soft lining of insulation on the inside of the livewell lid. Is there a better glue/epoxy that will stick to that lining? Thanks for any advice!Take insulation off inside of lid and mount an aluminum or cutting board material mounting plate with epoxy like the rest of the lockers have on them then re-apply insulation to inside lid to cover. Should be able to screw into mounting block from inside to mount tag holder. Or just trace the outline of your cull tag hanger on the insulation and remove just that section to be able to epoxy hanger directly to lid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BPS has the Pro Qualifier on sale right now for $49. Cant beat that. I have one and like it. However most of my reels are Shimano. Best reels on the market. Just stay away from Quantams. Theyre junk. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes. If it has the slide then just loosen the nut on side and slide forward and retighten. If not you can just remount it to your desired position Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Can you send pics and location to me. [email protected] from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Your gonna have a hard time finding a 2013 or newer for 35k unless you get into the smaller Sabre and Margay models which I wouldnt recommend if youre fishing with your dad. Extra room of the bigger hulls go a long way for older folks with not so good balance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dont buy an Onix. They have been discontinued and will no longer be supported. Buy a Gen2 Helix. They have a dedicated DI crystal and youll get the new MEGA imaging which is amazing. You can share SI/DI/2D/waypoints with any networked unit i.e. Helix-Helix. The Autochart is amazing with the capability to record your own contours as well as bottom hardness and vegetation charting. Dont get the Navionics card. Go with Lakemaster for your region. Navionics is a great card but Lakemaster is owned by Humminbird and youll get more features using their card in your Bird such as depth highlighting and lake level offset. You will not be able to due that using a Navionics card in a Bird. The depth shading is incredible to find underwater humps and ledges. You can buy a Helix SI for your console and a Helix GPS for the bow and network them to save money. I recommend to hold off on the zero line card initially if your trying to save money. The Helix will record 8 hours of Autochart internally, so you can play with Autochart before expanding your capacity with a ZL card. I have a Helix 10 SI and love it. Go with a Helix 12 SI at the console and a Helix 10 GPS at the bow and youll be dialed after youve networked them which is a breeze. Youll need 2 dongles and an Ethernet cable.
