I have a friend with a skeeter and his is under pass seat. It has worked well for him , leave seat up to aide with cooling if u have a transformer charger.

You can only charge one at a time , hook them up normal – and + it will work fine , reason you cant charge both is your charger will only put out 14 volts +- and the batteries are in series . Hope that helps. Also you can jump your starting battery from your trolling batteries but only use one battery and put the neg cable on the battery that the trolling motor negative is connected to as to not damage the trolling motor. Good luck

What is the cost of the pm 31? I looked on sears website and they have quite a few marine batteries not sure which one is the better one.

Bought a 14 eyra in sept and went from motorguide to minn kota , dont care for the minn kota , sits higher , much louder , and pedal feels cheap (plastic) . Only had it out 3 times but thinking of selling and getting a motorguide . And yes button on other side messes with you

I have a 14 eyra and feel your pain , i dont like the velcro either , too slow , thats prob the only thing i liked better on my triton were the retractable straps , the new caracal has them , way better ! Imo , and yes i would drill them and use the locking nuts and put some silicone in the holes to waterproof . Good luck

My triton had a one piece box that had two switches like that , one for starting batt and one for trolling motor , if shut off the batteries stayed full , if not they needed topped off every two weeks , i feel they make a big difference on battery life , that being said i have searched for a similar switch for my cat and no luck yet .
