Thanks so much for the pics and discussion. I believe in the process of switching to 36V this area of my bilge was covered with a plywood plank to act as floor space for the extra battery. Regardless, I performed the ultimate test of the backwards valve and was pleasantly surprised with a full livewell at the ramp. So, it IS possible to somehow rig this so that the EMPTY setting is actually performing the AUTO function. Some day I’ll need to pull that battery and will have to have a peak underneath to see what it looks like.

    Thanks again!

Any comments on the blue Stabil product for ethanol containing gas. I believe it even says it is for marine applications. I’ve been using it for the times I can’t get to the non-ethanol gas station along with SeaFoam and have had zero issues. 2008 HPDI Yamaha 200.

I’ll check and see if it is also mostly isopropyl alcohol.

I like the Stabil brand because it once brought a lawn mower back from the dead for me.

Me thinks that would just make things worse.

Thanks! The BassCat sticker says something about “Ch___nger, Inc”.  I would buy one of those stickers if reissued…Cat looks like he has a sleepy eye. LOL

Good call. I just considered the transom as the flattish area where the engine mounts but I took a second and looked at this build video

The transom piece being described does run the entire back of the boat…NO WAY I want to blow that up with a freakin hole saw. Glad I wasn’t just in one of my…aw just do it modes. WHEW!!!

Anyone want to buy a nice ladder? haha
