There are some great boats for sale on this site and on impactfishing.com that have low hours and have 4 years of warranty that will transfer if he is looking for the better warranty. Mine is listed and has less than 30 hours on the motor and has warranty until June 2012 it is a 2007 Puma with a Mercury 250 Pro XS. There is not a better riding boat out there I have been in them all and I know a Ranger boat will not ride as good as a BassCat and a Ranger will get you wet and I have not got wet yet in my BassCats fishing on Kentucky Lake in some rough water.

I agree with Ward the engines cant be that far off I think you sould get what ever you can get worked on the best. I run a Mercury 250 Pro XS on a 2007 Puma and you could not ask for a better motor. I think that if you went with an Evinrude 250HO I think you would be fine to.

Hey Jack This is Danny I have been thinking about a fury for my 250 ProXS. Well hows your boat doing. I still havent sold my 2007 Puma but thats okay because you know yourself that somebody is going to get a very good and clean boat that still has just 30 hours on the motor. Just wanted to to see how you were doing.

Thanks BasCat Boats for the information. My 2007 is just an example of what BassCat was talking about. I try to get a boat every year but the 2007 Puma came in June but for low hours for someone I had an elbow issue all year so I didnt get to fish much after I got my boat and then I had surgey in December so that put me back some. Most of the hours on my boat have come in 2008. My boat is garage kept when not in use. The Mercury 250 Pro XS has warranty until June 2012. The boat is very clean show room condition. I am ready to get a 2009. If anyone is intrested in the maintanence or condition of my boat feel free to call Reed or Steve at Riverside Marine in Nashville Tennessee 615-847-4909 or if you are intrested in a new 2008 boat they still have some and they will take care of you. My boat is listed here under Tennessee BassCat Puma. Also there is alot of very well maintained boats for sell on this page these people take good care of these boats because they are selling them every year or every other year and they have a lot of warranty on them. So if you are looking for a good used BassCat you should be able to find what you want here. Thanks And let me know if I can Help ][email protected] Thanks Danny HaleyLast edited by Danny Haley on October 7th, 2008, 2:33 pm, edited 1 time in total.

I know that you are looking for a 2008 model but I have a 2007 Puma and if you are wanting a Bob jack plate I would have one installed. It also has just under 30 hours on a Mercury 250 Pro XS. But if you are looking for an 2008 Puma there is a really pretty one on impactfishing.com it has a Bobs Jack Plate and that boat is very good looking. Good luck and let me know if I can help
