The Master Track tires that came on my Margay trailer are trailer tires. I dont know how theyll hold up since its new.
I have a second console on order for my Margay and thats already a small boat. After one trip with my girlfriend sitting on the passenger side without a console I know shell never enjoy a day on the water without one and therefore neither will I. Its worth the trade off for me.
I think I finally figured out how to post a picture!
Darn I just bought my boat a couple of weeks ago!
That is a great deal! I would have loved the cover!
It seems like a very hard place to actually hit it with anything. its tucked back behind the passenger seat in the space between the seats, but yes it does look like that.
Bass Cat Boats wrote:Hard to say on the one on the side, though the other is an impact of some type. We dont know what caused it, though star fractures like that are from an im pact sometime. Since it is new odds are against you being the one that caused it. The one on the taepd off area, we really cant see well, get with your dealership and we will see what the situation is.BCB The star fracture picture is actually the shadow being cast from the one inside the tape. Thats how my friend spotted it in my driveway. Ill shoot a message to the dealer tonight with the pics and get it into them soon since Im waiting on the second console to be installed. Thanks for replying so quickly.
Quick update. An email to the dealer with some pictures and one phone call and they will fix it when the second console goes in next month. You have to love a great dealer (Boatmasters) and a great manufacturer that stand behind the product with no hassle. We did agree that the damage was unusual and in a strange place, but Im just happy to reconfirm that I made the right choice in dealer and boat.
I got mine yesterday and I have to say that even though I was aware that Rick does that it still surprised me and made me smile. The fact that it was customized for my boat and dealer and not a form letter was a really nice touch. I was also surprised at the quality of the jacket. I can wear it on cool mornings and in the fall when Im out fishing and be warm and comfortable. The fact that they build a quality rig and stand behind it is enough the buy the boat, but its things like this that make it more special.
This happens in my Margay. Scares me a little every time. Usually when Im going over 40. Its like switching train tracks at high speed. Theres always current in the river so its hard to say if it happens in calm water. I just assumed it was my driving.
