I am going to be down on the white river at the Norfork resort and trout dock fishing a few days this weekend with friends. Gonna have wife and thought of stopping by BCB also on Friday if time allows. I will look at the 9-2 time frame.

I met Gary and Judy through the TNT on the river and the store. Then at the OIs. It was always a pleasure to see Gary (and Judy), as he always made me feel as if wed known each other for years. Youll be missed my friend! And my prayers go out to Judy and the family.

I did my seats on a 1999 P3. Easy job. I had to cut some plexiglass pieces to cover the gaps left between the seat and existing gaskets so the rain doesnt get in. Used 1/8″ plexiglass and cut to cover existing gasket and cover gaps left open from buckets. Dont know how to add photos with phone.

Thanks for the reply. Ive looked at some of the options and have crossed some off the list. Any Arkansas river location probably not a safe bet in my eyes, due to the possible high water flows. Greers Ferry doesnt have what I feel enough places to stay, although I think (not positive) the first OI was there, could be mistaken. So I guess the bigger lakes, Ouachita, Beaver, and the Mt Home impoundments is about all that could handle 400? boats. The OI is really the only derby I fish anymore, so I will sit here patiently waiting. Tight lines to all.Gunny

Oh, before the comments come, I only looked at Arkansas lakes. I think Rick said it would be in Arkansas. But as I get older, the hearing and memory might be lacking. Lol

I’m running a 99 P3 with a 200 EFI. I just had a week of trying a 24Fury 3 blade and my 25p Tempest. The old one with the oval holes. Due to getting the lower unit replaced last month it required the tempest to get refurbished. The Fury I think is needing extra holes, no rpm out of hole. Mid and top were nice with a full load and a healthy driver, lol, I get 68.5 GPS. Threw the Tempest on last night with one plug in I get a great hole shot and 69 top end with empty wells and 68 full. Sorry I don’t know the height of the prop shaft but I’m getting 5/16” holes in the 24 Fury and will try that. I think it’ll fix my holeshot and top will be similar. Love my P3, had it since ‘06 and fished on it since it was a year old. I still enjoy dropping ole girl in the water and running around. Tight lines to all

To make sure I’m good, as I already have a reservation for my RV.   The tournament is a Friday and Saturday correct?  March 13 & 14 and I travel home on the 15th.  Seeing dates that haven’t lined up with that thought. Just looking for tourney dates. As always, looking forward to another gathering on the water.
    Thanks

Am I to read this as the 2021 OI will probably not take place.  I understand how BassCat is in a pickle when it comes to scheduling an event with the unknown status of COVID.  I’m just trying to make plans with work. I’d rather have the BassCat family safe than sorry. Prayers to all to stay safe!
