Hello! I have a 2004 Cougar Ftd 225 opti combo. Ive run a 26 Trophy. Good lift poor hole shot and didnt like the way it loaded the boat. The prop would run around 72 wot.. Then i ran a 25 fury. The Fury had a best speed of 75 in the cooler months. Great speed not alot of lift and didn’t care for the way it ran in the bigger waves. I fish Lake Michigan alot. The current prop that i’m running is a 26 tempest. I really like this wheel. Good hole shot carries the load very well and alot of lift. Its actually a little big for the summer months as well. Going to send it in and have a little pitch taking out of it. I believe a 25 would be the best in the tempest. It runs 71-73 most of the time. Im going to try a Bravo 25 when the weather breaks. The only reason im going to is better hole shot. Hope this helps Hammy.
