I took the back rod butt rack out. Much easier to get rods in and out, easier access to the tackle below wo having to pull the rods out, and the front tubes alone will keep the rods from getting tangled up.

Another tip if your boat is like mine and you use the full size front seat instead of a butt seat, the rod box lid hits the seat and won’t open all the way. You need a longer or an adjustable pole to raise the seat enough so that the rod box lid will open correctly

Love my Classic!  I too was a little disappointed in the live well setup, but over time it has not been an issue.  It forces me to flush out my bilge when I flush the live wells which is a good thing.

I added tilt steering wheel to allow clear access to console graph.

And yes the Classic will fit in my garage, which was a biggy for me.

Starting in 2022 I think the Classic took a downgrade in carpet over the PII.  I might be wrong about that but something to consider if you’re looking a both models.

Use vasoline, it won’t stain the carpet.

Yes it lights up.  Same thing happened to mine.  Mentioned it to my dealer during break-in maintenance and they fixed it.  I think the bulb wasn’t pushed in all the way.

I ordered my classic with tilt steering just as an afterthought and absolutely love it.  It gives you clearance for your knees, the throttle, and allows for a clear view and access of your sonar screen.  It should be standard equipment.  Not sure about aftermarket options but you won’t be disappointed.
