Owned a Trailblazer for a few years. I pulled a 20 Skeeter, it did ok, but not much on mpg. A V8 is the way to go.

Go to the back of Palo Gaucho but dont go under the bridge. Stay on the south side. The water will be muddy with all the rain, it will almost look red. Throw 3/8 oz. spinner-bait/crank-bait/black neon tube. Make sure you fish every point, first and secondary. Let me know how you do, they should be there.

Kent, Im from Louisiana and our enrollment has dropped off significiently over the last 3 years. We have tried everything to encourge old and new members to fish. Our club is not the only one in our area with poor partication. Maybe its the hurricanes, oil spills, etc. we have endured throughout the past few years. You are not the only one looking for answers. If you figure it out, please let me know.

I think its going to be anyone game. Being born and breed in south Louisiana (Go Tigers!!!) I can tell you this time of year can and will be tuff for most!!! I think the winning stringer will come from an area south of Hwy 90. Thats an easy statement for me to make, but some may disagree?

Chris you are correct!! I agree, dont count out the Des Allemands area!! Everyone thinks Venice, but I have to go with your choices also.
