I didnt even see you asked the question before, sorry. When I saw somebody else posted and said I should answer a question before doing another I started looking to see what he was refering too. Yes everyoone is required to have full coverage Boat insurance and is on our membership form that they sign as well. With that being said, I wouldnt be as worried about the fishermen out there as much as the jet skis and the go fast boats. I am not sure but the last time I heard Tn. does not require insurance on boats. (legal disclaimer)I am not an attourney or an insurance agent and I dont even play one on tv, but I am pretty sure this is correct. This part I am sure of, in TN you are legally, and financially responsable for any and all damages caused by your boat or wake from by your watercraft. With that being said we (ohppbt club) does require the insurance on our participants. I also would strongly reccomend and check that you have under insured and uninshured coverage on your boat policy. To get on the water without this is crazy. With those two coverages you dont have to worry about being hit by any boat, anywhere, or on your trailer by a car on the way to the lake. I hope that answers your questions.
