Just got the boat back from local Mercury dealer…Turned out to be a bad termostat on the starboard side and everything else checked out fine…Temp is back to norm now…Thanks for all the responses…

Phil…Thanks for the photo…Is there 2nd U clamp on the bottom also?…Where is your 2nd pump mounted?….I got the pump mounted like yours….

That (Green ?) Ended up slightly bending inward 2 power pins on the power cable that plugs in to the back of HB & retightening power cable (pos/neg) that is connected to the back of the rocker switch on the bow for navigation light…Issue has been resolved and thanks again for your inputs…

GRR884…Thanks…Point-1 will get installed exactly where you installed your LWX-1…My boat is 06 Cougar so, I was leaning towards directly behind the drivers seat since my boat do not have (2) compartments behind the seats on the back deck other than live wells & bilge/gas etc…Last edited by PotomacFTD on December 26th, 2013, 11:40 pm, edited 1 time in total.

That boat on the link has newer style console…2006 Cougar has older style console with electronic being mounted not in the middle of the console but to the RT side…998/HDS 8 fits without using any mounts etc, but not sure if HDS-12 will fit even with the mounts from Sherm or other brands…Thanks
