Congratulations to everyone involved with Bass Cat for a well deserved recognition again. You guys may say it’s the customers that voted you into this position, but ya’ll sure deserve the award. Personally I never dealt with another boat company so I have nothing to compare to, but I just don’t see how anyone can be better than ya’ll. Keep up the outstanding work, and thanks again for being the company you are.

Luke, I got a hub kit for it Friday and ran it yesterday in the Mermentau. Only thing i did was clean up the prop. Hole shot was very good. I didnt time it, but with around 40 gallons of fuel, m/t livewell, and by myself, it came out of the hole nicely. I hit 72.8 but failed to notice my RPMs. This prop is a lot better than my Power Tech prop. The lift is so much better. I will give you a call. Ronnie

Yep, laid down like your Ford and Longhorns!!! Oh well, still SEC west champs. Guess that was some payback after we sorta took a little wind outta their sail last year. McFadden should win the heisman, the guy simply does it all. Tebow may be a stud, but McFadden is da man!!! Heck of a game. Ronnie

Chris, I was there from 3/19 until 3/22. I fished Palo Gaucho flats one afternoon, 1 cove just off PG to the south of it, and mainly the Indian Mound area. I crossed paths with a man and his wife in a beautiful white puma and charcoal bolt in the first cove south of the indian mounds headed to housen. I played with one bass that appeared to be between 7-8 lbs. Shed get off the bed, then rush back in, but she never would pick up my fluke or baby brush hog, or rogue. And believe me, i tried pissing her off too, to no avail!!! I may be back up there this coming week, but that LOBI has me thinking, maybe not!! Glad to hear you guys had a great time. Hopefully none of your gang got hit by the thieves going around!!! Me and Mr. Browning were ready for them, if any shenannigans took place!!! Take care Ronnie

Were you up there staying at Turtle Beach 2 weekends ago? Another thing, die a fluke on the bed, and after a while, curiosity, anxiety, and aggravation usually got the best of them!!! RonnieF

Yes i do have insurance. As for the impact. I never felt anything. I had the jack plate all the way up at launch, motor trimmed up. I had another person fishing with me, but i attributed that to the 3 or 4 mph speed drop off. Though at around 45 or 50 mph i felt some slight vibration and actually tilted the engine after shutting down to see if i saw any damage to the prop. I spun the prop by hand watching the shaft and didnt notice any wobble. I did hang up while fishing with the motor and had to trim up, but i thought it was a stump. Heck i guess it could have been a big chunk of concrete. Ronnie

Phil, Its a regular 225 Optimax with a remanufactured quicksilver lower unit. I will call the prop shop today and make sure of the specifics. Thank you, Ronnie

I was planning on going up there Sunday, but i believe im gonna back it up to Tuesday through maybe sunday. I believe the La. Oilmans is friday & saturday. Lad and I had a great time in Palo Gaucho last year one afternoon, after crossing the lake from Negreet to PG with a northwest wind. Those waves bouncing off that big bluff on the Tx. side can get really big!!!Good luck, and let us know how you do,RonnieF
