They cut the blades and cupping does not solve pitch issues or ventilation. If the prop runs good on top, change the PVS plugs and start restricting the exhaust with smaller vent holes. We actually prefer just a tad bit of ventilation if you hold the throttle down. It helps acceleration. Though it should only vent for a second or so.

    Thank you BCB for this information. I am not fully familiar with the plugs. Are they adjustable or do you replace with plugs that have a smaller vent hole ? I have read about the plugs in prior articles on this board and will try to locate those articles again. Will probably end up with a new prop and keep the old one for a spare.
